Ok by now you're probably asking yourself just what the heck he's talking about?Let me elaborate on that for just a moment .We all get busy with the day to day hassles and let certain things fall by the way,  One of those is typical maintenance on our automobiles When we buy our automobile we are giving a maintenance schedule that we are encouragedto go by, but just how important is it to follow?
Scheduled maintenance is a vital aspect of owning a vehicle and is critical to maintaining your car’s value and ensuring it is in good working order. Maintenance schedules are typically broken down by mileage and can vary by manufacturer and even from vehicle to vehicle. In some cases, completing this minimum recommended maintenance is necessary to keep a vehicle’s warranty in good standing.
The maintenance schedule for your vehicle should be displayed in your owner’s manual which will list out the mileage and the services recommended at each interval. Some manufacturers also include scheduled maintenance for free with the purchase of a new vehicle.
One of the most important reasons to following an auto maintenance schedule is to preserve the resale value of your vehicle. If you plan on reselling or trading in your vehicle, completing its scheduled maintenance will give you the ability to sell it for more. Whether you have scheduled maintenance done at a dealership or an independent mechanic, be sure to save all documentation relating to maintenance items and other repairs to raise the resale value of your vehicle.
A second reason is that scheduled maintenance can be an important diagnostic tool. By bringing in your vehicle at the designated intervals, qualified technicians can make sure everything is running smoothly and catch any mechanical issues that may occur. Also, it is useful as some manufacturers might deny warranty claims if your maintenance history does not meet those recommended standards.

(Summer's Coming) Getting Ready For The Road  This past weekend my bitter half and I .. Oops I mean my better half and I hit the road for a couple's weekend retreat, It was a small one 500 miles round trip.
