What is Christmas spirit?


The story of the first Christmas isn't a fairy tale or a story only to be told at Christmastime. It is a true story of God's immense love for mankind.  God loved man so much that He sent His only Son to be born of a virgin, live a sinless life and die as a sacrifice for the sin of all men

Many aspects make up the  the spirit of Christmas . Giving, hope, good cheer, love, understanding, helping, goodwill towards all people . These are the feelings of Christmas, The ideology we have been  taught through the ages, the ideas  that support the things that go along with this beautiful holiday like Presents, children, Xmas trees, decorations, parties, cookies & candy, and such.

Christmas has tremendously lost its meaning over the years. It has become all about presents and receiving, especially for younger children. ... The whole idea of Christmas has nothing to do with its true meaning. Many children probably don't even know that we celebrate it because it's Jesus's birthday

Christmas was originally celebrated exclusively at public gatherings, but changed in the early-19th century, when families started celebrating on their own. ... After World War II, Christmas became a more commercial holiday. A greater number of stores had Christmas decorations and music.

However you practice or celebrate Christmas just remember .The message of Christmas is that where there is hope, love, light and life, the plan and purpose of God will reach.

(Summer's Coming) Getting Ready For The Road  This past weekend my bitter half and I .. Oops I mean my better half and I hit the road for a couple's weekend retreat, It was a small one 500 miles round trip. I put My old trusty steed the gas hog in the garage and decide to rent a small compact economy car .
